About Me
My full name is Holly Wilkins and I'm currently a 3rd year student at the University of Hertfordshire who is aspiring to be a 3D animator. I have animated for live-action films, full CG films and video games, which have all helped me understand the different techniques needed for each.
Proficient Software
The software that I am most proficient in is Maya, Unreal Engine 5, Substance Painter, Zbrush and Photoshop. I also used Blender all throughout my two years of college to model, texture, animate and render.

My Skills
I've worked in both the catering and retail industry before, so I am more than used to working in high pressure environments at fast paces. I am good at talking to many different kinds of people daily and will always keep a calm and respectful demeanour no matter who I'm faced with.
I love bettering myself, so will often seek out feedback from those more experienced then me so that I can learn and grow.
My Interests
Across a span of 10 years, I have played in a total of 3 different football teams, captaining one and getting scouted for Essex at one point. I was also part of an athletics club for 3 years, training for 100m, 200m and high jump simultaneously. I would attend my football club three times a week, and my athletics twice a week. I balanced all of this whilst going to school five days a week and only stopped to focus on my college studies and obtain part-time work.
I've been a part of the University's climbing club since the beginning of my first year, and have been selected to compete in multiple competitions which I managed to fit in around my busy assignment schedule. On top of this, I regularly run and go to the gym all throughout the year.
Of course, being on an animation degree, I love to watch films, TV shows and play video games. Studying professional animation work is incredibly important to me, as it allows me to understand the movements and expressions that work well and occasionally the ones that don't.
